Situated in the heart of Harrogate Jesper’s Bar & Kitchen is a family vision that is finally real. Our ambition is to provide a cosy restaurant with delicious food and drinks, wrapped up with friendly and proficient service.

Jesper’s, is more than just a restaurant and bar, it is a place created by hospitality and molded by a lifetime of stories. But first, let me introduce myself, my name is Jesper and I am the proud owner of Jesper's Bar & Kitchen. Hospitality was brought to me at the young age of 4, when I was admiringly watching my brother practicing his bartending skills in the garden. At the age of 7, I was introduced to cellaring fine wine and started collecting miniature bottles of whisky.

 

More importantly I met the love of my life and today my wife, when “she was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar” that I was managing, (cue the "Don't you want me baby" 80's classic song that you may know).

Along the road to opening Jesper’s Bar & Kitchen I have been lucky enough to have worked all over the world, competed against the very finest people in the industry (and even won a few competitions along the way).

​

So what is Jesper’s Bar & Kitchen about? It is my version of hospitality. A place that makes you feel good, where you are looked after and the service and product you receive is second to none. It is a lifetime of stories that will come to show on your plate, in your drink and the service you receive.

We have many exciting new developments and menu changes that we look forward to treating you to in good time but for now, we hope you enjoy the same menu that our predecessors lovingly created.
